The 15th Ethno Food & Drinks Fair, which was held from the 25th to the 28th of November in Hall 3 of the Belgrade Fair, has with its content and concept intrigued numerous visitors but also business people and officials of high international status.
The 15th Ethno Food & Drinks Fair was officially opened at the Belgrade Fair, in the Ethno Yard of Hall 3.
At the fifteenth Ethno Food & Drinks Fair in a row, in hall 3 of the Belgrade Fair, more than 300 manufacturers of traditional food products will perform– hand made products according to traditional recipes mostly from organically grown ingredients, but also new products created on the foundations of tradition and imagination of manufacturers, as well as the packaging for the for packing traditional products.
Traditionally, the 14th Ethnic Food and Drinks Fair was officially opened in the Ethnic Courtyard in Hall 3 of Belgrade Fair with a toast and a warm welcome. On this day, exactly 82 years ago, Belgrade Fair had opened its gates, thus paving the way to regional trade from the capital. At today’s Staro sajmište, the first fair event was held, which was a phenomenon within the European framework, well received by local and international participants and visitors. Ever since then, Belgrade Fair has changed its location, expanded its infrastructure, enhanced its services and set new standards, thus permanently improving the economy and society as a whole.
The largest and oldest review, the 13th edition, of the manufacturers of the traditional food products – Ethnic Food and Drink Fair will be held also this autumn at Belgrade Fair, on November 21 – 24. The event will be attended by the the manufacturers of the traditional food products, mostly handmade in the traditional way and from organic grown raw materials, produced in the limited quantity for the presentation to the market.
At the Conference on the Mutual Cooperation of the Regional Countries’ Cooperatives, held within the 12thInternational Ethnic Food and Drink Fair, Milan Krkobabić, Minister in charge of the regional development and public companies operation coordination in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, said Serbia would do everything to let the cooperatives become the village support again and the villagers’ products become – goods.
Under the auspices of Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry Engineering and Water Management and the City of Belgrade, 12th Ethnic Food and Drink Fair is held on November 22 – 25, at Belgrade Fair. The manufacturers will feature under support of Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Cooperative Union of Serbia, Governmental institutions, Local Self-Governments, various Associations, Tourism Organizations or independently.
