The main award at the largest regional gastronomic fair, the 17th Fair of Ethnic Food and Drinks, “ETHNIC FOOD AND DRINK – BRAND FROM SERBIA” was given to a dairy factory Suvobor d.o.o. Pranjani for their range of products made from cow’s milk. In addition to the main award, a series of awards and recognitions were given to food and beverage producers in various categories.
The ceremony for the formal opening of the 17th Fair of Ethnic Food and Drink began with the traditional toast by the host, Dragiša Simić. This oldest and most comprehensive exhibition of traditional products will feature over 300 producers, with small-scale producers mainly participating in collective stands organized by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and its regional branches, the Cooperative Union of Serbia and Vojvodina, city authorities, and associations.
From November 30th to December 3rd, at the Belgrade Fair, enthusiasts of good food and drinks will have the opportunity to indulge in a unique blend of tradition and authenticity at the seventeenth annual Fair of Ethnic Food and Drinks. On this day, exactly 82 years ago, Belgrade Fair had opened its gates, thus paving the way to regional trade from the capital. At today’s Staro sajmište, the first fair event was held, which was a phenomenon within the European framework, well received by local and international participants and visitors.
